OK, I know I am really late on this, but being home on “vacation” has enabled me to discover Yo Gabba Gabba!
WTF?!
Yeah, this is a children’s show on Nickelodeon – WHAT?!?! Really weird! But also really cool!
The show was created by Christian Jacobs from the ska band The Aquabats!
There's Christian Jacobs up front as The MC Bat Commander!
This is a crazy ass kids show, but it’s completely awesome! It’s like the new H.R. Pufnstuf.

It’s like a kid’s show + a Deelite video with cool guests like Biz Markie and Rhys Darby AND Elijah Wood! In fact, here is a hi-LAR-ious video that someone put together, mashing up the Numa Numa song with the puppet dance sequence that he performed on Yo Gabba Gabba! Enjoy:

A lot of kids’ shows are really pandering ( to kids, hello…everything is pandering), but this is some damn hip entertainment! It’s a family version of Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Good Job! with all the surrealism and kookiness. I appreciate the heck outta this thing!
A pink flower thingy, a yellow robot, a blob of green mold, a blue cat thingy and a dildo-looking cyclops dance around - hosted by a nerdy gay black DJ!
Wow, this is fucking AWESOME.

This makes me long for the days of Zoobilee Zoo!
